Materials (figure A): 2 pieces of cardstock 4 boxes of matches Craft glue Decorative paper Craft knife Brads (handles) - With a craft knife cut a small slit into each matchbox where you want the brad (the handle to each box) to stick out.
- Push a brad into each slit (figure B) and bend out the legs.
- Arrange matchboxes so that they form a square with a hole in the middle (figure C).
- Measure one side of the square.
- Cut 2 pieces of cardstock to the size of the square.
- Cover cut cardstock with paper.
- Glue the covered cardstock on top of the matchbox square (figure D).
- Flip the box over and glue the other piece of cardstock to the bottom of the matchbox square.
Tip: These boxes can also be covered with adhesive plastic coverings found at craft stores. Products: All supplies are available at any drugstore.
