    1. Select a zucchini that is nice and dark and has no blemishes. Cut a long slice off of it.



    2. Cut out the backside of it to make it look like a stem (figure A) and then make the other end of it pointy (Figure B).



    3. Take a V-cutter that you can get at any Arts and Craft store and make two long smooth cuts all way down the middle of the zucchini (trying not to go too deep).



    4. Then take the V-cutter and go down each side to make the veins in the leaf (figure C).



    5. You can make leaves out of carrots, cucumbers, etc.
