Sweet Dreams Gage Materials: Navy, white, pastel blue and pastel yellow cardstocks 20-gauge silver wire Silver 1/8" eyelets Large and jumbo star punches Hook-and-loop tape Celestial-themed die-cuts Computer font of choice Punch-out or die-cut alphabet Pop-stop card and envelope by Serendipity - To texture the pastel yellow cardstock, dampen cardstock and crumble into a ball while squeezing out water. Open cardstock up and flatten. Allow cardstock to dry.
- Use navy cardstock as your background, then tear two 1-1/2" x 12" strips of pastel blue. Adhere these to the top and bottom of navy background. Tear two 1/4" x 12" strips of white and adhere on top of the pastel blue.
- Triple mat photo onto white, textured yellow and pastel blue.
- Set silver eyelets in four corners of photo. Run wire through eyelets and curl with fingers.
- Punch two jumbo and one large star from white cardstock; punch one large navy star and one large textured yellow star.
- Set one eyelet in each star.
- Cut a moon shape (free-hand) from textured yellow, then cut name from die-cut alphabet or punch-out alphabet.
- Wrap silver wire through eyelets on stars and curl with fingers. Adhere navy star to moon. Hang one yellow star from name and one white star from the moon.
- Adhere photo and embellishments to background as shown in sample.
- For pop-stop card/envelope: Adhere poem or journaling to card. Fold all score lines on the card (accordion fold tail) & envelope. Place card on the inside of the envelope making sure it fits within the square, then glue down the first fold of at the bottom of the tail. Close envelope around the card and adhere two sides and the bottom together.
- Create the words "sweet dreams" and mat on textured yellow (figure A). Center on top of envelope and glue to top flap only. Cut with scissors around the top flap of envelope, and then glue the remaining section to bottom of envelope aligning the phrase (figure B).
- Adhere a small piece of hook-and-loop tape to the inside of top flap to keep envelope closed.
- Adhere pop-stop card to layout as shown.
