    Figure D

Designer Jill Miller captures a day at the zoo in this eclectic design.

    Materials:

    Color photographs
    Zoo- or jungle-themed stamps
Large and small paper luggage tags
    Metallic rub-on creams
Corrugated paper in navy, tan and black
    Ivory skeleton leaves
Black, white, copper and green pigment ink
Twine, sticks, metallic threads or beads
    Eyelet setter and black eyelets
    Green, teal and brown cardstock

    1. Crumble the jumbo and mini luggage tags, then flatten them out.

    2. Next, rub distressed tags with metallic rub-on creams in color combinations that match those found in photographs (figure A).

    3. Mat all photos with complementary cardstock all cut to one uniform size, leaving at least 1/4" frame around each photos.

    4. Place two matted photos "back-to-back" and eyelet punch opposing corners (figure B).

    5. Slide the jumbo tag between the two matted photos (figure C) and eyelet punch remaining two corners.

    6. Cut 4' of thread. Begin with upper right eyelet, leave approximately 4" of thread hanging, and tie a knot. Proceed to thread each hole, tying a knot and leaving excess thread.

    7. Then, add bead, journaled mini tag (figure D) and another bead to hanging thread at one corner. Secure with knots and tuck under the photo mats.

    8. Repeat steps 4-7 for each page.

    9. To create cover, fold navy corrugated stock in half.

    10. Stamp colored cardstock squares and mount to corrugated squares as shown.

    11. Use double-stick tape to mount skeleton leaves to navy cover and layer stamped images as shown.

    12. Punch hole in front top center of navy cover, back top center and center of the far left side of rear cover.

    13. Thread twine through the tags and rear cover and knot. Thread twine through front hole, through rear and return twine to front hole. Knot to finish.
