    Projects by Kat George.

    Gillyanne

    Materials:

wide stripe pink and green paper
    solid blue paper
    solid light green paper
    decorative alphabet stencils
    colored pencil or marker
    ten 1cm rhinestones
    iridescent glitter
    Xyron Sticky Spots
Xyron Model 900 with permanent adhesive
Xyron Model 510 with permanent adhesive
laminate/permanent adhesive refill cartridge for Xyron Model 900
    scissors
    rotary cutter

    1. Using the rotary cutter, trim the solid blue paper to create two mats, one 8" x 8" square and 3" x 6". Using the Xyron 900, apply permanent adhesive to the blue mats.

    2. Trim the solid light green paper to create two additional mats, 7-1/2" x 7-1/2" to fit within the 8" x 8" square and 2-3/4" x 5-3/4" to fit within the rectangle.

    3. Place the square mat on the page 1 inch from the bottom, centered left to right on the page. Place the rectangle mat centered in the top third of the page with equal spacing top and bottom, left and right.

    4. Create a title for your page by using the decorative alphabet stencils and colored pencils or markers on the green rectangle mat.

    5. Use the Xyron 510 to apply permanent adhesive to the green rectangle mat and adhere it to the blue mat, leaving a 1/4-inch border on all sides.

    6. To create the green glitter background for the picture, run the 7-1/2-inch square face side down through the Xyron 900 using the permanent adhesive cartridge.

    7. Remove the adhesive backing and cover the square with iridescent glitter. You can dump the glitter on the paper and work from edge to edge, shaking off the excess, or you can place the paper sticky side down into glitter that is spread onto a plate or countertop.

    8. Replace the permanent adhesive cartridge in the Xyron 900 with the laminate-adhesive combination cartridge. Shake excess glitter from the green paper and run through the Xyron 900 face up to apply laminate to the top and adhesive to the bottom of the sheet. Trim excess laminate, remove the adhesive backing, and adhere to the center of the page.

    9. Use the Xyron 510 to apply adhesive to the photograph and affix to the center of the page.

    10. To finish, use Sticky Spots to adhere the rhinestone accents to the page.

    Happy Anniversary

    Materials:

    solid purple paper
    computer and printer
    5" x" 7 cardboard frame
    3-1/2" x 4-1/2" cardboard frame
    2-1/2" x 8-1/2" cardboard frame

Xyron Model 900 with permanent adhesive
Xyron Model 510 with permanent adhesive

    1. Use your color printer to create the Happy Anniversary title and journaling block. After printing, use the rotary cutter to trim the title to fit inside the 2-1/2" x 8-1/2" frame and the journaling to fit inside the 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" frame.

    2. Use the Xyron 510 to apply permanent adhesive to your photo, title strip and journaling; affix to the page, being sure to leave enough space to add the frames.

    3. To create the beaded frames, use the Xyron 510 or Xyron 900 to apply permanent adhesive to the face side of each frame.

    4. Remove the adhesive backing and place frames sticky side down into glass beads evenly spread onto a plate or countertop. Apply firm pressure to assure proper adhesion. Shake off excess beads and let set for 5 to 10 minutes.

    5. Run frames, face up, through the Xyron 510 or Xyron 900 to apply adhesive to the back of the frames. Remove adhesive backing and adhere to the page, being sure to cover all edges of the object being framed.

    Dragonfly Summer

    Materials:

green-blue chrysanthemum Design Page, single photo with title
    dragonfly stamp
    clear 1mm glass beads
    assorted fine markers or colored-pencils
    journaling pen
    4" x 6" white card stock
Xyron Model 510 with permanent adhesive cartridge
    scissors

    1. Using the single photo Design Page, adjust the page orientation to horizontal, with the title block on the left.

    2. If necessary, use the mini-guillotine cutter to trim your photo to 1/4 inch smaller than the photo opening.

    3. Apply adhesive to the photo with the Xyron 510 and adhere to the center of the page, leaving equal space on all sides.

    4. To add the sparkling accent, use a dragonfly stamp on a piece of white card stock. Cut out the dragonfly using sharp scissors.

    5. With markers or colored pencils that complement the paper, color the dragonfly.

    6. Run the colored dragonfly through the Xyron 510, face down. Remove the adhesive backing and firmly press the face of the dragonfly into clear glass beads evenly spread onto a plate or countertop.

    7. Remove excess beads and run through the Xyron 510 again, this time face up. Remove the adhesive backing and affix to the page.

    8. Use the journaling pen to add a title to the block on the left.

    Baby

    Materials:

yellow and green open Anglaise circles paper
yellow and green closed Anglaise circles paper
    solid light green paper
    self-adhesive glass alphabets
    glitter
    10-3/4" diameter mirrored circles
    Xyron Sticky Spots
Xyron Model 510 with permanent adhesive
Xyron Model 900 with permanent adhesive
    mini-guillotine cutter
    rotary cutter

    1. Using the mini-guillotine cutter, trim photos to 3- and 4-inch squares.

    2. To create the double mats for the photos, use the rotary cutter to trim the solid light green and the closed circle paper. Green paper should be trimmed to 1/2 inch wider than the photo size, and the closed circle paper should be trimmed to 1/4 inch wider than the photo size.

    3. To create the background for the title, use the mini-guillotine cutter to trim remaining green paper to a 2-1/2" x 4" rectangle and the closed circle paper to 2" x 3-1/2".

    4. Use the Xyron 510 or the Xyron 900 with permanent adhesive to apply adhesive to the back of all mats and all photos.

    5. Affix the solid green mats to the page making sure to leave space for the glitter and mirror accents.

    6. To finish the photo blocks, apply the closed circle mats to the center of each green mat, leaving equal space on all sides, and then add the pictures in the center of the double mat, leaving equal space on all sides.

    7. To complete the title block, randomly place large Sticky Spots on the green rectangular mat and sprinkle with glitter; remove excess glitter and adhere the closed circle rectangle to the center of the block, leaving equal space on all sides.

    8. Use self-adhesive glass alphabets to create the title.

    9. To complete, use Sticky Spots to adhere the mirrored circles using the open circles as a guide.
