Materials (figure A): Gold-leaf paint Large glass candleholders Candles Paintbrush Smooth river stones/rocks - Paint one side of each river stone with gold-leaf paint (figure B).
- Wait for paint to dry, then turn the stones over to paint the other side.
- Place candles inside candleholders.
- Place the painted stones inside candleholders.
- Light and enjoy.
Tip: Groupings of these luminaries in different shapes and sizes make a very attractive tabletop setting. Products: Gold-leaf paint and large candleholders can be found at most craft stores.
