Here's an easy technique for setting in the sleeve before you construct the sweatshirt. - Pin and sew the shoulder seams.
- Serge the shoulder seams (figure A).
- Stay-stitch the neckline.
- Sew the sleeves to the jacket.
- Pin and sew the underarm and jacket in one continuous seam (figure B).
