  • Knitting and Crocheting with Shelley Morrison
  • From "Celebrity Hobbies"
    episode CHS-206

Whether actress Shelley Morrison is sporting a nun’s habit on a rerun of The Flying Nun, or a Member’s Only jacket on an episode of Will & Grace, she always makes audiences laugh...and through all of her costume changes over the years, one thing has stayed the same...her love for knitting and crocheting.

    Shelley Morrison
The reason Shelley Morrison enjoys knitting and crocheting so much is that they are very portable hobbies. She can take her projects anywhere, even to the sets! Morrison has been acting for forty years, but has been knitting even longer. While working in the stressful entertainment industry, she finds that knitting relaxes her.

Morrison gives a few pointers to beginners out there such as explaining the difference between knitting and crocheting. While knitting, you’re using two or more needles...with crocheting, you’re using a hook. It’s needles versus hook!
