    Figure A

Maria Javier turns an ordinary frame into a western-themed focal point.

    Materials:

    Rough wooden frame
Miniature fencing (available in one-yard lengths)
    4 rusted tin stars
    Glue gun and glue sticks

    1. Stain or paint frame and distress as desired. After frame has dried, measure frame and cut lengths of fencing to fit each side.

    2. Glue fencing to long side of frame. Apply short length of fencing, overlapping long length of fencing at corner. (For best results, apply glue along wire on back of fencing.)

    3. Continue for other two sides (figure A).

    4. To finish, glue tin stars to each corner. Insert image or photograph.
