    • Place the pineapple on its side and slice off the top and bottom portions (figure A).







    • Stand the pineapple upright and begin to shave off the outer skin (figure B). Cut the pineapple in half.







    • Make diagonal cuts along the side to remove the little brown eyes (figure C).







    • Make a diagonal slice to remove the core (figure D) and continue to slice the pineapple into even slices down its length. Chop the sections into smaller pieces.
