 Fabulously unique photo-transfer accessories add personality to a kid's room and are a great way to display a favorite photo anywhere in the home.

After you've mastered the technique for creating photo transfers, you can create a cozy pillow to display favorite photos in style. Author and craft expert Jean Ray Laury demonstrates. Materials: 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" square of fabric with photo transfer 2 squares of light-colored fabric, 3-3/4" x 3-3/4", cut in half diagonally 2 squares of medium-colored fabric, 4-7/8" x 4-7/8", cut in half diagonally 2 strips of fabric for the side inner borders, 1-1/2" x 8-1/2" each 2 strips of fabric for the top inner borders, 1-1/2" x 10-1/2" each 2 strips of fabric for the side outer borders, 2-1/4" x 10-1/2" each 2 strips of fabric for the top outer borders, 2-1/4" x 14" each 2 pieces of fabric for the back, 10" x 14" each 14" pillow form Sewing machine Thread Pins Scissors - After creating a photo transfer with above dimensions, sew a light-colored triangle to each side of the photo square using a 1/4" seam allowance. Press seams toward the triangles.
- Sew a medium-colored triangle to each edge of the resulting square. Press seams toward these triangles.
- Sew the two 1-1/2" x 8-1/2" strips to the left and right edges of the square. Press toward the border.
- Sew the two 1-1/2" x 10-1/2" strips to the top and bottom edges. Press toward the border.
- Sew the two 2-1/4" x 10-1/2" strips to the left and right edges of the square. Press toward the border. Sew the two 2-1/4" x 14" strips to the top and bottom edges. Press seams toward the border.
- Along one 14" edge of each pillow back piece, press 1/4" under. Press under another 1/4" and topstitch this edge.
- Overlap folded edges of the two pieces, right sides up, to create a 14" square. With right sides together, pin the pillow top and back together.
- Sew around all four edges using a 1/2" seam allowance.
- Turn right side out and insert the pillow form. The pillow will fit snugly for a tight, puffy look.
