    Materials:

    salvaged wooden headboard
    fabric
    decorative trim
    polyester stuffing
    polyester batting
    spray adhesive
    electric sander
    hot glue gun
    scissors
    staple gun

    1. Clean (figure A) and sand the front surface of the headboard with an electric sander.

    2. Glue polyester stuffing to the front of the headboard using spray adhesive (figure B). Note: Make sure the stuffing is applied evenly to avoid lumps.

    3. Measure and cut polyester batting and fabric to the shape and size of the headboard (figure C). Glue in place with spray adhesive.

    4. Staple the fabric and batting from underneath and on the outside edge of the headboard.

    5. Cover the staples on the outside edge with decorative trim using a hot glue gun (figure D).
