Project designed by Walter and Gwen Knabe.Materials: fabric store machine print fabric 2 silk screens 1 squeegee 2 silkscreen inks 1 acrylic color 1" foam brush Hand Painted Fabric - Lay fabric on table and tape down with painter's tape.
- Silk screen first color two to three times in a random fashion and let dry.
- Silk screen second color two times in random fashion and let dry (figure A).
- Using foam brush, apply brush strokes in random fashion and let dry.
- With squeeze bottle, paint squiggle lines of paint in random fashion.
Tips: - Pick a fabric with a pattern that lends itself to adding even more elements. Sometimes a simple background can be enough to add a base depth to work off of.
- With the designs you are adding, pick different types of materials that will add more interest and depth to your design.
