    Materials:

    Dog bed
    Cream polar fleece
    White polar fleece
    Blue polar fleece
    Pattern for bone
    Pins
    Scissors
    Cream-colored wide rickrack
    Fabri-Tac
    Iron
    Ironing board
    Embroidered iron on letters that spell out your dog's name
    Embroidery floss or cotton string
    Big needle

    1. Glue the wide rickrack around the parameter of the dog bed using Fabri-Tac (figure A).

      Note: Start it in the center of one side because you will be placing a heart in the center of each side and that way you can hide the seam. Be sure the tips of the rickrack are glued securely in place.

    2. Cut large blue and small white hearts out of the polar fleece. Glue the white small heart onto the top of the blue heart. Glue the hearts onto the center of each side over the rickrack (figure B).

    3. Cut a template and use it to cut out the bone from the cream polar fleece (figure C).

    4. Using black heavy cotton yarn or embroidery floss, stitch around the bone using large stitches.

    5. Place the iron on letters in center of the bone. Iron them on the front with no steam for about 25 seconds and then turn over and iron the back the same or according to the manufacturer's specifications.

    6. Using Fabri-tac glue the bone on the diagonal on the top of the bed (figure D).
